My Story
Hello, I’m Lea McQuillan, Independent Scentsy Superstar Consultant. I started my Scentsy journey September 14th, 2010! I was a first time mom to a 5 month old little boy, and I had been keeping an eye out for something to supplement my income when the family business was slow, so I didn’t have to leave my baby for a part time job.
My friend invited me to a Scentsy party. I had a good idea of the lightbulb “burner” and “tart” concept, so I did some investigating before my friend’s party. I had that feeling in my gut that I could not ignore, and the little nudge from my husband when I was doubting myself, so I contacted the consultant and joined! I then went to my friend’s party to see these amazing products first hand that I was about to start sharing with everyone I knew! The warmers and amazing smelling bars that were throughout the home had me hooked!
Life is crazy, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. We have added two more wild boys to our family and my husband started his own electrical business in the last 11 years and Scentsy has been with me through every milestone.
What I didn’t know in 2010 is Scentsy would give me way more than a supplemental paycheck! I absolutely love our products and love and believe in our mission and values. One of my very favorite things is to give, to give gifts, to make people smile, to show someone they are appreciated, and to brighten someone’s day, and Scentsy has helped me do that so much! Scentsy has paid bills when times were tight, helped fund home improvements, and paid for vacations.
This wax slinging thing has taken me to places I would have never gotten to go. Grand Ole Opry checked off this country girls bucket list because of Scentsy. I have met so many people and made lifelong friends through my Scentsy journey, that this small town girl would have never dreamed of.
